| The Miami Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (MACCW) acts through its membership to support, empower and educate all Catholic Women in spirituality, leadership and service. MACCW member through our programs respond with gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world. We are dedicated to serving the Church and Communities of South Florida in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties since 1958. The Miami Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women server to unite all Catholic Women Organizations of this Archdiocese in purpose, direction and action in religious, educational, social and economic fields, as well as to give full support to the statements and programs of the United States Bishops Conference and to render them assistance in these efforts, most especially our Archbishop and the priests and parishes of the Archdiocese of Miami. | ||

| At our convention several resolutions were past in support for: 1. The campaign to protect human dignity. 2. To urge congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform to keep families together. 3. The campaign to promote and support family payer as well as strenghten familes and marriage in conjunction with the US Council of Catholic Bishops and the National Associaton Of Catholic Family Life Ministries. 4. The campaign to support and foster vocations amoung young people, encourage seminarians and show appreciation to our priests. 5. The campaign for the beatification of Pope John Paul II. 6. The campaign to promote religious freedom and stop discrimination on the basis of religious identity, belief, government benefist, funding or other support |
